As freelance web developers we are always on the lookout for new technologies to enhance and hopefully speed up product development.
After reading up about Microsoft's new MVC framework, we decided to build a new product using the technology.
Working closely with a local tax consultant and accountant, we have developed a new product which will be launched soon after beta testing is complete.
We found the learning curve fun, having come from a more familiar ASP.NET forms environment but now we are up and running with MVC we are happy with the choice. We have found that one of the main advantages of the technology is that it encourages 'clean' development and structures the website files and content in an ordered manner - although your choice of file storage is somewhat dictated, it does lead to a cleaner, easier to maintain website solution.
